Due to parachuting being active at Swansea Airport, a change has been notified that will be entered in to the AIP to mandate the following procedure
When requesting arrival information from Swansea Radio on 119.705 MHz, you will be provided with the QFE, runway in use, circuit direction and if parachutes are in the sky, you will be advised NO OVERHEAD JOINS, NO DEAD SIDE FLYING WITHIN THE ATZ. If this is the case, please route for a downwind join to the runway in use, please do all positioning outside of the ATZ, this is to safeguard the lives of the parachutisits while they are in the final phase of their descent.
